Editor-in-Chief (Aug 2016 – Feb 2018) & Founding-Editor<\/strong> Dr. Govind Singh<\/strong> holds a Ph.D.<\/strong> in Urban Water Management from the Department of Environmental Studies, University of Delhi<\/strong>. Prior to his Ph.D., he completed his Masters in Environmental Studies <\/strong>from the School of Environmental Studies, University of Delhi<\/strong> and he is also the Co-Founder of Delhi Greens<\/a> NGO<\/strong>. The Delhi Greens NGO has played an instrumental role in generating environmental awareness among the youth and in promoting the principles of sustainable development since 2007.<\/p>\n Dr. Govind Singh is presently working to ensure urban sustainability by balancing contemporary environmental management principles with spiritual ecology and traditional knowledge. He has been a member and coordinator of several environmental programmes, projects, proceedings, and campaigns at regional, national and international platforms. He has also been the brain behind the award winning Delhi Greens Blog<\/strong><\/a> and Urban Ecotourism<\/strong> projects both of which are aimed at ensuring environmental harmony and sustainable development.<\/p>\n Dr. Govind Singh has been an active environmental youth leader since his college days and has worked to channelize the energy of the youth towards biodiversity conservation and environmental protection.
